Simple Whole Roasted Chicken Recipe

You will need:
Salt (2 teaspoons)
White sugar (1 teaspoon)
Ground cloves (1/8 teaspoon)
Ground allspice (1/8 teaspoon)
Ground nutmeg (1/8 teaspoon)
Ground cinnamon (1/8 teaspoon)
Whole chicken (1 can or 4 pound)
Garlic (5 cloves and crushed)

How to do it:
For this recipe you will need first to mix some ingredients in a bowl; in here you will mix the salt, sugar, cloves, allspice, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Then you can rub the chicken with the mixture and then you can cover chicken, and place in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours. Then you can preheat oven to 500 degrees F or 260 degrees C, then you need to stuff the chicken cavity with the garlic. And after this you can place the chicken, breast side down, on a rack in a roasting pan. Then, once you have done this roast 15 minutes in the preheated oven and then reduce heat to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C), and after this continue roasting 15 minutes. Once you have done this baste chicken with pan drippings, then reduce heat to 425 degrees Fahrenheit or 220 degrees Celsius, and continue roasting 30 minutes, to an internal temperature of 180 degrees. Let stand 20 minutes and then it will be ready to serve in your kitchen table.
