Simple Grilled Pineapple Milhojas Recipe

When you are looking for a simple dessert that will make your whole family happy, then you have found the right one, this recipe is very simple and easy, you do not need to do a lot, just take a few minutes of your time and read these simple instructions, then go a head and make something delicious for your family in just a few minutes.

You will need:
Sweetened condensed milk (2 cans or 5 ounce)
Puff pastry (3 sheets)
Pineapple rings (12, big ones)
Citrus sorbet of your choice (at taste)

How to do it:
In order to make homemade “dulce de leche” this means candy milk, you will need to remove and discard labels from cans of condensed milk. Place the unopened cans into a large saucepan and pour in enough water to cover by 1 or 2-inches. Bring water to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to medium, cover, and simmer for 3 hours. Drain, and allow cans to cool to room temperature before opening. In the mean time, cook the puff pastry sheets according to package directions and allow to cool to room temperature. Then you will need to pour the candy milk from one can evenly over a sheet of puff pastry after this place a second sheet of puff pastry over the first, then pour on the remaining can of candy milk. Top with the remaining puff pastry sheet, then cut into 12 triangles. Once you have heated a grill pan over medium-high heat and oil with cooking spray, or preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat. Then grill the pineapple rings until warm and nicely marked. And after this serve each triangle on a dessert plate garnished with a grilled pineapple slice and a scoop of citrus sorbet.
